Arthritis and Heart Disease
Arthritis (Rheumatoid Arthritis) is still not yet known caused by what, although the impact as we known effecting on the bones but it also could invade to heart, lungs, skin and also could cause anemia.
Arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis is a term joints, known in various forms, including the most common: Reumatiod Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, and Gout (arthritis arthritis). All forms of arthritis begins with inflammation of soft tissues such as connective tissue, ligaments, and tendon near the joint. Arthritis is a common rheumatic disease complaints at all ages, symptoms that often one feels during his life.
Arthritis cause pain and restrict movement of the patient. Symptoms of arthritis are not always preventable. However, you can take steps to make strong bones and body always feels fit to perform activities independently. Symptoms or signs of arthritis in general, namely:
- Joints stiff and painful when moved
- The swelling in one or several joints
- Pain in the joints that will be colored reddish
- Fever, and fatigue that accompany the pain in the joints.
People with arthritis could get heart disease due to narrowing of blood vessels. The potential hit is 20 times bigger striking the heart compared to normal people. Arthritis is a rheumatic disease that affects more than 21 million people in the world. This disease appears due to the immune system mistakes.
The immune system is supposed to catch foreign objects that trying to infect our body but instead attacking the object, its struck the body itself which made some disturbance for the heart, kidneys, eyes. The worst part is could cause death.
Preventive action could be taken to avoid arthritis. such as:
* Perform regular activities such as sports or at least move your body for 30 minutes a day, and at least 3 times a week.
* Maintain your weight in ideal size, because too much fat can increase the risk of arthritis and also other disease.
* If you experience symptoms of arthritis, contact your doctor or medical consultant immediately and start treatment earlier.
* Avoid activities that can make bone injury, avoid repetitive bending motion in many times and be careful when doing sports activities.
People with arthritis usually takes medicine such as provailen which could reduce the pain and treat your joints. For the dosage, its better consulting to your medical consultant first.
